Priorities for a Stronger West Jordan
David F. Pack is committed to fostering strategic development that benefits all residents, tackling traffic challenges with innovative solutions, and enhancing parks and open spaces for community enjoyment and healthy living. His focus is on building a sustainable, connected, and vibrant West Jordan.
David supports low density housing initiatives, is vigilant about maintaining a community where families feel safe including enhanced funding for public safety. He supports policies that reduce traffic on our roads and always listens to residents, soliciting input and voting according to the majority of their feedback.
David owns small businesses and works in West Jordan, and has much experience with multi-million dollar budgets.
He is the ONLY West Jordan Council Member with 100% attendance to all council meetings and also the ONLY one to organize town hall neighborhood meetings to receive YOUR input.
David’s understanding of how to get things done properly, frugally, and with a collaborative, friendly teamwork mentality has a proven track record of success. David will advocate for a West Jordan with commercial establishments when approved are modern, convenient, diverse, and where good jobs are plentiful.
David has won the Best of State Award for being Utah’s Best Elected Local Official in 2022 and 2023, Utah’s Best Appointed Official in 2016, 2018, 2024 and 2025, Utah’s Best City Planning Official in 2016 and 2017, and Utah’s Best Educational Volunteer in 2009 & 2010.


Meet David f. Pack: what more could you want from your city council member?
There is no substitute for experience. David has lived and raised his three children in West Jordan for the past 25 years. West Jordan needs someone who can hit the ground running, who has already established decades-long working relationships of trust with city staff and residents. David has served as PTA/PTSA President and Community Council Member 15 consecutive years.
David has served as chairman to the following city committees: Planning Commission, Board of Adjustment, Western Stampede Entertainment, Design Review, Economic Development, and committee member of the: Transportation, General Plan, Envisioning, Arts, and Community Development Block Grant. David has also volunteered in many community projects such as the Comcast Cares Day of Service, Arts Council Projects, Memorial Day Tribute, Independence Day Parade, Western Stampede Rodeo, Demolition Derby, Night Out Against Crime, and City Car Show.
